Rating update

From the court to your rating in minutes.

Sign up once. Log a match. Your PSR takes care of the rest.

Step 01

Create an account

Sign up in under a minute. No review period, no waiting for approval. Both players need an account to keep ratings accurate and verified.

Step 02

Log and verify with a PIN

Log the score, then pass your phone to your opponent. They enter their 6-digit PIN privately, like a password, and hand it back. One device at the net is all it takes.

Step 03

PSR updates instantly

Our Bayesian algorithm recalculates both players' PSR the moment the match is verified, factoring in opponent skill and score margin, not just who won.

Common questions about PSR, how the rating works, and what to expect when you start.

A Pickleball Skill Rating (PSR) is a numerical score that represents your current skill level based on your match history. OnePSR calculates your PSR using a Bayesian algorithm that accounts for opponent strength, match outcome, and score margin. The higher your PSR, the stronger your rating. It updates automatically after every verified match.
Most rating systems are opaque. You play a match and a number changes with no explanation. OnePSR is built differently: your PSR updates instantly after PIN verification, factors in score margin (not just win or loss), and shows you the exact formula behind every change. There are no review periods, no manual approvals, and no black-box calculations.
This happens when you win against a much weaker opponent by a smaller margin than expected. The algorithm already predicted you would win, so a narrow victory gives you less credit than a convincing one. Beating a stronger opponent, or winning by a wide margin against any opponent, will increase your PSR more significantly.
Create an OnePSR account, have your opponent create one too, then log your first match. Your opponent verifies it with their 6-digit PIN. You receive your initial rating after your first verified match. Your PSR becomes more accurate the more you play. It largely stabilizes around 30 recorded matches. There is no review period or manual approval step.
Yes. OnePSR tracks singles and doubles ratings separately. Each match type has its own PSR so your doubles skill is rated independently from your singles skill, the same way a player can excel in one format and be developing in the other.
OnePSR is built for club players, casual groups, and recreational leagues who want a transparent rating without waiting for manual approvals or review periods. If you play regularly and want an honest measure of your skill level that updates the moment your match is verified, OnePSR is for you.
